I’m taking my time, taking apart every piece, every screw so far. For the most part, cast iron is getting a nice thick brushed on layer and the thin steel or aluminum pieces are getting spray canned. Pieces are coming along nicely.
The old 2x8s were warped, and since I want drawers i decided to go witha solid piece. So I ripped some 2x6s and glued them together. Bench is assembled and looking good.
