Roubo frame saw kits are getting closer.

I’ve tackled the longer carrier and bar. That all worked out after some trial and error. Next was the kits. Cutting a slot for the plate isn’t hard but I wanted to be able to make consistent cuts that were straight AND the perfect size for the plates. First attempts were a mix. Too big, too small, blade heated up so the cut was uneven on a perfectlysized cut off wheel setup, ect. Today I finally got another bandsaw blade that has the perfect kerf! Test cuts done and new square tubing got slotted. Plate slips in without excessive movement.

Plus 4 new plates got toothed. A good busy day.
